Landing Ship Squadron 9 Reunion
Announcing the first LanShipRon 9 joint Reunion for all crew members of the eight LST's that made up our Squadron. This reunion will be held in San Diego Oct 10-14, 2012 at the Town and County Resort. The room rate will be $95 per night, which is a great rate for a San Diego hotel, and this rate is good for up to 3 days before and following the reunion dates.
This reunion is not in lieu of the Washtenaw Association reunion in Niagara Falls, so plan on attending that one too. They will be held about a month apart, so plan on attending either or both reunions! Attention Washtenaw crew - As attendance planning for this first ever LSR9 reunion will not be easy, please ease the burden by emailing me (Bob) if you think there is a 50% or better chance you will attend. If you live in the San Diego area and only want to attend the Friday Banquet dinner, let me know that, too. No prices have been set yet, so check back from time to time.

1000 Welcome and registration and check in at the Hospitality Room
1200 Snacks will be provided during the day. Dinner on your own

Thursday October 11th - Reunion Day 2
0600- 0800 Breakfast on your own
0800 Board bus for Ships tour- USS Midway. Wives, optional shopping at Seaport Village
1300 Lunch during Harbor Tour with TBD. This may change based on having a harbor tour by ACU-1.
1500 Bus return to the hotel and afternoon is free time for all hands
1500 Hospitality Room Open
1300-1800 Free time for ship activities

Friday October 12th - Reunion Day 3
0700-0900 Breakfast on your own
0900 Board bus for Naval Amphibious Base Tour and Memorial Service at Vietnam Memorial
1100- 1230 Base tour, Specwar boats etc.
1230-1330 Lunch at Base mess hall (this could change)
1400 - Board bus to return to hotel
1400 -1700 Free time, individual ship activities
1800- 2000 All hands banquet at Town and Country, Speaker is TBD
2000 Hospitality Room opens

Saturday October 13th - Reunion Day 4
0700-0900 Breakfast on your own
0900 Board bus for MCAS Miramar to attend Fleet Week Air show
